Running Partner

The Running Partner is a tool to help you with various running calculations. I built it to assist me in calculating my time spent in the different training zones proscribed by Daniels’ Running Formula. It currently has four main calculations:

  1. Pace
  2. Weekly Mileage (including percentages spent in various training zones)
  3. Theoretical Max Heart Rate (220 – age)
  4. VDot training paces

If you have any suggestions, bugs, etc. please email me at running.partner@gmail.com. I can’t promise it will be incorporated (the software is free after all), but I will read it and try to address it.

Download
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
