Me, Me, Me
What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said? I have a variety of interests and a pretty good career. I have been fortunate to work at some great companies and one not so great. I double-majored in Mathematics and Computer Science at Amherst College. graduating in 1996, where I also played varsity hockey for 4 years as a defenseman. After that, I moved to Syracuse, NY where I got my Master’s in Computer Science from Syracuse University while working full time at a variety of companies in the area. I currently work at for a small startup, mostly focusing on search. I am a committer and PMC member for Apache Lucene, which is a great open source search engine originally created by Doug Cutting.
