Intro
Here are some maps of my bike routes, hiking trips, GPS points of interest, etc. Special thanks to GPS Visualizer for making creating a Google Map from GPS coordinates so easy. GPS coordinates were downloaded to my Mac using TOPO!. Note: Some of these maps may take a few seconds to load, depending on the number of waypoints. Also, all maps are available as GPX files from here.

Rides
- January 14, 2007 Ride: Cary -> Apex -> Holly Springs -> Harris Lake -> Bonsal -> Jordan Lake -> Apex -> Cary (~40 miles)
TOPO! TPO file GPX file - Cary – Three Lakes – Tarbert – Macgregor Downs Loop (8.7 miles)
- Cary Parkway – Apex – Jordan Lake – 15/501 (~50 miles) (TOPO! file) (GPX file) — Great ride out from Cary to Jordan lake and beyond. Be prepared for a big time hill going up Jack Bennett Road, but enjoy the ride back down Lystra. Pretty nice roads all in all, except for early on near Apex where the construction has ruined a lot of the roads.
- Cary Parkway – Holly Springs Rd – Kildaire Farms Rd (11.3 miles)
- Cary Parkway – Jenks – Back roads (~16 miles)
- Cary Parkway to Jordan Lake via Backroads (~ 2 hr ride at 18-22mph pace)
- Cary Parkway – Holly Springs Rd – Penny Rd – Olde South Rd – Yates Mills Rd – Tryon Rd (16.9) – Nice ride overall, especially on Penny Road around Lake Wheeler and Yates Mills Rd. Tryon and Holly Springs Road are a bit busy, but not too bad.
- South Cary and Apex Ride – Queensferry – Old Raleigh Road – Olive Chapel Rd – Kelly Rd – Jenks – Old Apex Rd – Cary Parkway (16.2 miles)
- NCBC September Rides: Tuesday Ride from Saltbox Village (35 miles)
