Tour de France and Earpieces

I’ve always wondered why the Tour and other cycling events allow earpieces.  Now, I see they have banned them from today’s stage of the Tour.  Pretty good idea, I think.  Let the riders figure out what’s happening on their own.

NYC will close 2 lanes to cars on Broadway – Yahoo! News New York City will close two lanes to cars on Broadway in midtown to make way for a bike lane and a pedestrian walkway with cafe tables. Very cool!  If NYC can do it, so can every other city in America.
